Da’wah and Strengthening the Understanding of Religious Moderation at Islamic Universities

Departing from previous studies, which found that colleges were one of the locus for sowing intolerant, extreme, and radical religious views, this article examines strengthening moderate beliefs at Islamic universities in Riau Province, Indonesia. By taking case studies three universities, namely State University Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau, College Bengkalis, Hubbul Wathan Duri. This finds notion moderation tertiary level has been manifested many policies such as outreach, involving lecturers some training, including material college entrance test criteria new students, making theme Real Work Lectures students. finding shows institutions are not passive towards exposure to intolerance radicalism but instead take up resistance policies. At same time, becomes a da'wah activity Riau.
